5 Tips To Improve Your Eyesight

If you believe your eyesight is diminishing, there are some eye exercises that you can do to improve your eyesight. Most people take their eyesight for granted, and others believe that losing their eyesight is a natural occurrence that will eventually overtake them; however, this is not always true.

Causes for Poor Vision

One reason you may be experiencing a loss in vision is staring at a computer or television for longer periods of time. Decreasing the amount of time you spend at the computer is one way to correct vision – although this is not the only way. Wearing glasses may correct vision for awhile; however, even glasses and contacts can be harmful to the eyes.

The reason for this is that they actually weaken the eye muscles; this is why doing eye exercises can improve eyesight naturally because you are strengthening the muscles within the eyes. Just like any muscle in the body – if you don’t use it, you’ll lose it. Weak arm muscles make holding heavy objects difficult; just like weak eye muscles cause poor eyesight.

Improve Eyesight Naturally

Wearing glasses or contacts is not a way to improve eyesight naturally, because you are introducing a foreign object into your eyes. Not only does this weaken muscles, it can cause Visiclear unwanted bacteria to enter the eye, which may actually cause blindness. If you increase the amount of eye exercises you do per day, then you will drastically improve eye vision without the help from an optician.

Here are just a few exercises that can help improve eye vision without doing much work at all:

Blinking – Zooming – Tracing – Focusing – Palming

Blinking is something you do naturally; however, increased focus at the computer or television can decrease the amount of time you blink. Each time you blink, you refresh your eyes, which reduces a certain amount of eye strain. Take a break and blink every three or four seconds for two minutes. Afterwards, your eyes should be more relaxed than before. It’s hard to believe that something as simple as blinking can help correct vision.

Zooming and focusing are very similar, and both exercises are done by placing your thumb in front of you and moving it closer and further from your eyes. Not only does it strengthen your eye muscles, it also improves your ability to focus.

Tracing can be done to improve eye vision by imagining a figure-eight in front of you and tracing it with your eyes. This exercise will help strengthen your eyes, as well as improve eye flexibility. It will be hard at first, but it will become easier the more you practice it.
