Type 2 Diabetes – Do Supplements Help Diabetics?

Chromium: Another highly touted supplement for people with Type 2 diabetes is chromium. Chromium is actually a mineral that’s required in small amounts to help with the metabolism of glucose in the body. In short, it can help the body break down blood sugar. Some studies have shown that if a person has a deficiency in chromium, using supplementation can actually help to control blood sugar levels.
